WE ARE LAUNCHING A DEMENTIA DAY PROGRAM
(This lovely lady has been loving it.)
With pampering spa days, nails painted, hair done, foot baths, massages.
Cooking classes, making your loved ones favourite meal 
Walks to the nearby lake, to see local animals and get some fresh air.
Dancing sessions 
We have some brain stimulating games including balloons, pegs, socks tea towels.
We play cards with some of our participants.
Arts and crafts activities, making jewellery for grandchildren, making birthday cards etc.
We access the community and go to beautiful parks and sit by lakes, cafes and restaurants, sometimes we’re even able to go shopping 
This program has been formulated by an OT, and has included colours, approaches, items and activities to help the brain engage, is altered slightly once we meet the participant, and even have respite for overnight stay to accommodate for the wonderful guardians and carers who may need that break here and there also.
